BarJump does not collect personal information. What's in your menus, the folders you add, your shortcuts and your searches stay on your Mac.

What the app does with your data

BarJump works entirely on your Mac. It reads your Applications folder, the folders you add and the list of your shortcuts only to show them in its menu and search, each time you open them. Your menu settings are stored in your Mac's own preferences. The app has no accounts, analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party services.

Update checks

To find out whether a new version is available, BarJump downloads the update feed from barjump.app, automatically if you allow it or when you choose Check for Updates. Like any web request, this reveals your IP address and the app's version to the server, which keeps standard access logs to run and protect the site. BarJump doesn't send any information about your Mac or how you use the app with the check. Updates are downloaded from barjump.app and verified before they install.
